According to the RBI calendar, after the holiday of fourth Saturday and Sunday, banks will remain closed on the occasion of Holi/Dhuleti/Dol Jatra/Dhulandi on March 25. On the occasion of Holi 2024, Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad (AP and Telangana), Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji. Holi will be celebrated in Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong and Shimla. Banks will remain closed on this occasion.

On March 23, 2024, all banks in the country will remain closed on the fourth Saturday of the month.
3. March 24, Sunday – Weekend Bank Holiday
Banks across the country will remain closed on their weekly holiday on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
4. March 25, Monday – Holi (2nd day) – Dhuleti/Dol Jatra/Dhulandi
Banks will remain closed in many states on this day due to Holi.
5. March 26, Tuesday – Yaosang 2nd day/Holi
Banks will remain closed in many states due to Yaosang.
6. March 29, Friday – Good Friday
On the occasion of Good Friday, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Agartala, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Srinagar, and Shimla.
7. March 30, Saturday, Fourth Saturday
Banks are closed across the country on 30 March 2024 on the fourth Saturday.
8. March 31, Sunday – Weekend Bank Holiday
Banks across the country will remain closed on their weekly holiday on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
Online services will continue
Though the banks will remain closed for 14 days in March, online services will continue during this period. If you have bank-related work on holidays, you can avail of online services sitting at home. Despite bank holidays, all online and ATM services continue. Apart from this, you can also make digital payments through credit cards and debit cards.
