Vedanta declares Rs 8.5/share dividend: Record date, other key details to know

Mining major Vedanta Ltd's board on Monday declared a dividend of Rs 8.5 per share amounting to Rs 3,324 crore. The latest dividend will enable the Mumbai-headquartered private sector company to reduce the debt owed by its London-based parent Vedanta Resources. The announcement makes this Vedanta Ltd's fourth dividend so far this financial year.
