Indian equities in Thursday's session ended mixed amid increasing volatilty. At the close, Nifty ended 0.1 per cent higher at 23,750, while the Sensex ended flat with a negative bias at 78,472.48.

Sectorally, auto and pharma pack were the most resiient, while weakness percolated in FMCG and banking stocks which at the start of the trade were among the top sectoral gainers.
