PSU stocks to buy: UBS initiates 'buy' on these multibaggers - Check targets

PSU stocks to buy: Shares of two public sector undertakings (PSUs) - Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) - are in focus today as global brokerage firm UBS has initiated a 'buy' call on them.

PSU stocks to buy: The counter opened at Rs 627 and gained further to touch the intra-day high of Rs 636.15. Last seen, the counter was trading at Rs 623.65.

PSU stocks to buy: The counter has given a multibagger return of over 154 per cent in one year and 479 per cent in two years. On a YTD basis, the counter has already gained over 46 per cent.

PSU stocks to buy: The shares of PFC started the session at Rs 546 on the BSE against the previous close of Rs 539.05. It gained further to touch the high of Rs 552.35. Last seen, the counter was trading at Rs 542.35.

PSU stocks to buy: The stock has given a good return of 151 per cent in one year and 471 per cent in two years. It has already gained 37 per cent so far this year. 

PSU stocks to buy: The brokerage highlighted a strong growth outlook for both companies, driven by their strategic focus on renewables and infrastructure financing.  

"REC and PFC's growth drivers and trajectory will be similar, with REC growing slightly ahead of PFC," the firm said.

PSU stocks to buy: The brokerage firm has given a buy call on REC with a target of Rs 720.

PSU stocks to buy: The firm has set a target price of Rs 670 for PFC.
