From GAIL to ONGC: Should you buy stocks of oil and gas companies? Check targets by global brokerage firm

Oil and Gas Stocks: According to Macquarie, the current stock prices reflect optimism on the inclusion of natural gas under the goods and services tax regime. While positive, the research firm does not see immediate benefit from the move.

HPCL Share Price Target: Macquarie upgraded HPCL to "outperform" from "neutral" while slashing the target price to Rs 380 from Rs 425.

BPCL Share Price Target: For BPCL, it has maintained a "neutral" call and cut its target price to Rs 315 from Rs 515.

Indian Oil Share Price Target: Macquarie has upgraded to "neutral" and increased the target price to Rs 155.

GAIL Share Price Target: The global brokerage firm has downgraded to "underperform" and hiked its target price to Rs 180.

Petronet LNG Share Price Target: The brokerage has downgraded to "underperform" and raised the target price to Rs 260.

Gujarat State Petroleum Share Price Target: Downgraded to "underperform" and increased the target price to Rs 1,360.

Gujarat Gas Share Price Target: Maintained "underperform" and cut the target price to Rs 450.

Indraprastha Gas Share Price Target: The brokerage firm has maintained "neutral" and hiked the target price to Rs 480.
