D-Street Newsmakers: Zomato, Oberoi Realty, Varun Beverages among stocks that hogged limelight today

After starting the week on a tepid note, Indian markets in Monday's trade (May 13, 2024) staged a V-shaped recovery, aiding the broader gauge Nifty to reclaim 22,000 levels. At the close, Nifty ended higher by 48.85 points or 0.22 per cent at 22,104.05, while Sensex settled 0.15 per cent or 111.66 points higher at 72,776 levels. Primarily, pharma and metal stocks led the recovery followed by banking names. Meanwhile, the broader markets outperformed with Nifty Midcap 100 index gaining over 0.4 per cent.

Shares of the company ended flat with a negative bias at Rs 2188.25 even as the company reported that its total production jumped 19 per cent on year.

Even as the company's quick commerce arm Blinkit turned adjusted EBITDA positive in March, shares of the company tumbled 4 per cent to Rs 193.7. In the intra-day trade, shares of the new-age company logged fresh 52-week high of Rs 207.3 apiece on the BSE.

Shares of the state-run entity jumped 15 per cent to Rs 3679.6 as the company's Q4 consolidated PAT scaled 63 per cent on-year to Rs 257 crore.

After the company reported an over 19 per cent growth in standalone PAT to Rs 75.03 crore, shares of the company ended higher by nearly 6 per cent at Rs 7,130.

Shares of the company ended 1 per cent higher at Rs 1477.80 after the company's Q1CY2024 consolidated PAT climbed 25 per cent on year to Rs 547.98 crore.

Oberoi Realty

Ahead of its results tomorrow, shares of the company ended nearly 1 per cent higher at Rs 1483.80. Zee Business research desk estimates the company's Q4 PAT to come in at Rs 500 crore, up 4.1 per cent over the same period last year.

After the results, company's shares today were dragged lower by over 8 per cent to Rs 959.55.Goldman Sachs double downgraded the stock to 'neutral' from the earlier 'buy' call and slashed the target to Rs 1,040 from Rs 1,080 earlier.

After mid-day hiccups, shares of the state-run lender ended on a positive note, up over 1 per cent at Rs 259.
