Indian equities amid fag end sell-off retreated lower from the day’s high as sentiment turned cautious.ahead of the US Fed’s policy outcome tomorrow. Sensex ended lower by 0.04 per cent or 33.48 points at 76,456.59, while Nifty settled flat with a positive bias at 23,264.85. Meanwhile, the broader markets continued to exhibit their outperformance, with both Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 indices logging their fresh record highs in intra-day trade.
"After a notable rebound, the domestic market has stabilized, awaiting further triggers. With the resolution of uncertainties in government formation, attention has shifted back to global and domestic indicators. Concerns have risen regarding potential U.S. rate cuts following last week's strong U.S. job data, leading to an increase in U.S. bond yields,” Vinod Nair, Head of Research, Geojit Financial Services said.

Suzlon Energy
Shares of the company ended nearly 2 per cent higher at Rs 48.26, up nearly 2 per cent, after the company bagged a new order from AMPIN Energy Transition.
NBCC
Shares of the construction company ended higher by 10 per cent at Rs 157 after the company secured multiple orders worth Rs 878.17 crore from different entities.
SBI
SBI shares settled with marginal gains at Rs 835.25 after the lender’s board approved raising funds up to $3 billion through issuance of senior, unsecured notes via public offer and private placement methods.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors shares ended over 1 per cent higher at Rs 987.1 after the company’s UK subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) released its annual report for FY24.
Dredging Corporation
Shares of the company settled 8 per cent higher at Rs 1027.80 after the company secured an order worth Rs 2,015.88 crore from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority (SMPA) for a five year period.
Ircon International
Shares of the PSU railway stock ended 8.11 per cent higher at Rs 272 as cabinet minister Ashwini Vaishnaw retained the Railway Ministry.
PTC Industries
Shares of the company ended nearly 4 per cent higher at Rs 11,600 as the company plans to set-up a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for defence testing.
