Equity benchmarks continued to trade higher on the weekly expiry day led by buying in metal and realty stocks. At the close, Sensex ended higher by 0.18 per cent or 141.34 points at 77,478.93, while Nifty ended firm by 0.22 per cent or 51 points at 23,567. Meanwhile, broader markets saw buying action after a day’s breather.

The sharp rally in the stock was triggered after global brokerage Goldman Sachs initiated its coverage on the stock with a ‘buy’ rating and a target price of Rs 1,350.
