D-Street Newsmakers: M&M, Bajaj Finance, Wipro among stocks that made headlines today

As equity indices got a boost after the RBI Governor’s upward revision of GDP forecast for the financial year 2024-25 in its MPC outcome, Sensex and Nifty concluded the session at a new closing high. The 30-share BSE Sensex ended higher by 2.16 per cent or 1.618.85 points at a record high of 76,693.36, while Nifty50 ended 468.75 points or 2.05 per cent higher at a record 23290.15.
