Nifty at the close ended just above 24,100 levels, down 0.74 per cent or 180.5 points at 24,117 levels, while the 30-scrip BSE Sensex ended at 78,886.22, down 0.73 per cent or 581.79 points.

Havells
Havells shares ended lower by 2 per cent at Rs 614 after the US subsidiary's Q1 show.
RVNL
RVNL shares ended with a cut of nearly 5 per cent at Rs 538.35 as the company posted a 35 per cent on year decline in profitability in Q1.
MRF
MRF shares ended with gains of over 4 per cent at Rs 1,40,056 even as the company's Q1 PAT slipped 3 per cent on-year.
LTIMindtree
As the recessionary concerns in the US surface, LTIMIndtree ended with a cut of over 4 per cent at Rs 5,339.8 per share amid broad weakness in the IT pack.
