Welspun Enterprises dividend, Dividend stock: Welspun Enterprises has announced a reward for its shareholders. The infrastructure developer has announced a final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10 each for the financial year 2023-24, i.e., a 30 per cent payout. 

"It hereby informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting held on May 21, 2024, have recommended Final
Dividend of Rs. 3/- per equity share of the face value of Rs.10/- each at the rate of 30% on the equity shares for the financial year 2023-24," the company's filing dated May 21 said. 

Notably, the said dividend remains to be approved at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM).

"The Dividend will be paid to the shareholders who are holding equity shares of the Company on the last day of book closure which will be July 08, 2024," it added.

Welspun Enterprises reported a 45.4 per cent decline in consolidated profit to Rs 77.67 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2024.

The company posted a consolidated profit of Rs 142.41 crore in the year-ago period.

The consolidated income dropped to Rs 866.70 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 916.46 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing by the company.
