Vodafone Idea Share Price: Vodafone Idea slipped over five per cent while Indus Towers was trading flat on BSE on Wednesday after reports that Bharti Airtel may buy Vodafone Group's 21.05 per cent stake in Indus Towers.

The stock of the telecom company that opened at Rs 13.73 slipped to the day's low of Rs 13.66, a 5.07 per cent fall from the previous close of Rs 14.39.

Vodafone Idea shares were trading lower by 3.82 per cent, or Rs 0.55, at Rs 13.84 each at 9:38 am on Wednesday. 

Indus Towers, on the other hand, opened at Rs 363.80 and slipped to the day's low of Rs 357.70 after closing at Rs 359.65 a day before.

It was trading flat at Rs 359.85.

Bharti Airtel currently holds a 47.95 per cent stake in Indus Towers.

At present, the matter is stuck on valuation, as per reports.

Airtel wants to acquire Indus Towers stake at a valuation of Rs 210 to 212 per share.
