Vodafone Idea falls despite telecom firm reports good third quarter numbers

Vodafone Idea Share Price: Vodafone Idea slipped in the morning session on BSE on Tuesday (January 30, 2024) despite the telecom company reported good operational and bottomline performance. 

The stock of the company was trading lower by 0.41 per cent, or Rs 0.06, at Rs 14.64 at 10:21 am on Tuesday.

Highlights of Vodafone Idea Q3 results

The company reported exceptional gains of 755 crore due to TDSAT ruling and accepted by DoT

It saw a 10th successive quarter of 4G subscriber additions and ARPU improvement.

It has reported its highest EBITDA (pre-Ind AS 116) in the last 11 quarters.

The overall subscriber base for the telecom company stood at 21.52 crore compared to 21.98 core Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ) (46 lakhs overall subscriber loss QoQ).

It remained engaged with various parties for fund raising to make required investments for network expansion, including the 5G rollout.
