For Dalal Street bulls, it was yet another eventful week as benchmark indices roared to record peaks. The Nifty50 rallied 412.8 points, or 1.7 per cent, to 25,235.9 while the Sensex added 1,279.6 points, or 1.6 per cent, to settle at 82,365.8—both record closing highs. While Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv—popularly known as the Bajaj twins—notched weekly gains to the tune of 7-9 per cent to emerge the biggest winners among the blue chips, a host of other stocks rewarded investors handsomely.

To put things into perspective, 147 shares in the top-performing stock on the list—Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL)—worth about Rs 49,752 a week ago are now valued at Rs 65,025, as of Friday. Similarly, eight units of Godfrey Phillips shares worth about Rs 43,242 grew to be worth Rs 52,050 during this period.
