Ujjivan SFB shares hit a 52-week high for second day in a row
The stock of the small-cap company hit a 52-week high of Rs 59.58 in early morning deals on BSE on Wednesday, a day after reaching as high as Rs 59.50 on Tuesday.
Ujjivan SFB Share Price: Shares of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd on Wednesday (October 4) repeated their feat of hitting a 52-week high for the second day in a row. The stock of the small-cap company hit a 52-week high of Rs 59.58 in early morning deals on BSE on Wednesday, a day after reaching as high as Rs 59.50 on Tuesday.
The stock ended the trading session on Wednesday, down 2.56 per cent, or Rs 1.51, at 57.44.
The company's shares have been in heavy demand ever since its partnership with SMC Global Securities on September 26.
In the last five trading sessions, the stock has jumped 8.50 per cent against the benchmark Nifty 50's decline of 0.88 per cent in the same duration.
Ujjivan SFB's reverse merger with Ujjivan Financials
The bank is also in the process of reverse merging with its holding company, Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd.
At present, Ujjivan Financial holds 73.68 per cent equity shareholding and 100 per cent of the preference shareholding in the small bank.
After the reverse merger with the holding company, Ujjivan Financial shareholders will receive 116 Ujjivan SFB shares for every 10 shares.
