Stocks to Watch: The impact of a successful G20 Summit seemed to be reflected on the Indian benchmark indices on Monday, September 11, as the Nifty scaled the record 20,000 mark for the first time in its history while the BSE Sensex jumped by 528 points to regain the 67,000 level. Robust buying by domestic investors helped equity markets extend their winning run to the seventh straight session on Monday.

The BSE benchmark jumped 528.17 points, or 0.79 per cent, to settle at 67,127.08. The Nifty hit its all-time high of 20,008.15, a gain of 188.2 points, or 0.94 per cent, in day trading. Nifty closed just below the 20,000 mark at 19,996.35, reflecting gains of 176.40 points, or 0.89 per cent.  

At 08:21 AM, the GIFT Nifty was trading 20.5 points, or 0.10 per cent higher at 20,138.5 levels, indicating a positive start for the market.

TVS Motor Company

TVS Motor Company on Monday announced the re-appointment of KN Radhakrishnan as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company for another five years, starting October 23, 2023, through an exchange filing.

He was hired based on a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

The company also approved the appointment of Deepali Pant Joshi as an additional director and non-executive independent director of the company.

She will hold the position for five consecutive years, effective September 11.

Larsen & Toubro

The company has increased its buyback offer price by Rs 200 to Rs 3,200 from Rs 3,000 earlier.
