Stocks to Watch: The impact of a successful G20 Summit seemed to be reflected on the Indian benchmark indices on Monday, September 11, as the Nifty scaled the record 20,000 mark for the first time in its history while the BSE Sensex jumped by 528 points to regain the 67,000 level. Robust buying by domestic investors helped equity markets extend their winning run to the seventh straight session on Monday.

The BSE benchmark jumped 528.17 points, or 0.79 per cent, to settle at 67,127.08. The Nifty hit its all-time high of 20,008.15, a gain of 188.2 points, or 0.94 per cent, in day trading. Nifty closed just below the 20,000 mark at 19,996.35, reflecting gains of 176.40 points, or 0.89 per cent.  

At 08:21 AM, the GIFT Nifty was trading 20.5 points, or 0.10 per cent higher at 20,138.5 levels, indicating a positive start for the market.

TVS Motor Company

TVS Motor Company on Monday announced the re-appointment of KN Radhakrishnan as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company for another five years, starting October 23, 2023, through an exchange filing.

He was hired based on a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

The company also approved the appointment of Deepali Pant Joshi as an additional director and non-executive independent director of the company.

She will hold the position for five consecutive years, effective September 11.

Larsen & Toubro

The company has increased its buyback offer price by Rs 200 to Rs 3,200 from Rs 3,000 earlier.

L&T Finance

Bain Capital is expected to sell a 2.62 per cent stake in the company via a block deal today. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 129.72 per share, which is at a discount of 0.6 per cent of the last closing price. The deal size is estimated at Rs 850 crore.

Kinetic Engineering Ltd

On Monday, the board of directors of the company passed a resolution for the allotment of equity shares and OCCPS to promoters on a preferential basis.

It allotted 22,85,000 equity shares at Rs 120 per share, amounting to Rs 27.42 crore, to the promoters of the company.

TVS Holdings Limited

The company's board of directors approved on Monday the appointment of Timm Tiller as an additional director and non-executive independent director for a term of five years, with effect from September 11, 2023.

Wheels India / Steel Strip Wheels

Anti-dumping duty will continue on Flat Base Steel Wheel imported from China. The duty for the next five years at the rate of $613/MT. On June 12, DGTR recommended and started a review investigation on the application of Wheels India and Steel Strips.

ICICI Bank 

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved to re-appoint Sandeep Bakshi as MD & CEO. The appointment will be effective from October 4.

Oracle Financial Services

Oracle projected current-quarter revenue below Wall Street targets on Monday and narrowly missed expectations for the first quarter as a tough economy pressured cloud spending by businesses, sending its shares down 9 per cent in extended trading.

Cement stocks

According to a report by Nomura, cement prices can be hiked in East India from September 11.
