Why Tata Motors shares are trading lower in todays session?
After the Q4 results, Tata Motors management said that from JLR business, the company was not expecting good numbers in the current financial year FY25. It also said that it was not expecting good results in the next quarter.
Tata Motors Share Price: Tata Motors shares' fall continued on Thursday (May 16, 2024) as they fell nearly three per cent on BSE in the morning session.
The stock that closed at Rs 947.20 a day ago slipped by 2.98 per cent to Thursday's low of Rs 919.00 despite opening at Rs 954.65.
Tata Motors shares closed trading lower by 0.87 per cent, or Rs 8.20, at Rs 939.00 on Thursday.
The stock of the automaker is yet to recover to Friday's closing level ever since Tata Motors reported muted fourth-quarter results.
In the first trading after the results, many of the leading brokerages downgraded Tata Motors shares and they tanked by eight per cent on Monday.
The shares recovered a bit on Tuesday and closed a bit higher.
But they fell further on Wednesday by 1.81 per cent.

The stock's 52-week high is Rs 1,065.60 achieved on March 5.
