Stocks to watch: At 8:29 am, Gift Nifty futures traded higher by 0.16 per cent or 36.8 points at 22,395, indicating positive opening for the markets in Tuesday's session. Domestic equities settled in the green on Monday, April 22, as geopolitical tensions eased. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 0.86 per cent to close at 22,336.40, while the S&P BSE Sensex, ended 0.77 per cent higher at 73,648.62.

Earnings today: A host of companies, such as Tata Consumer Products (TCPL), Tata Elxsi, MCX, Nelco, and Cyient DLM, are slated to release their March quarter earnings today.

Vodafone Idea: The company's Rs 18,000 crore FPO received a good response from investors as the issue was subscribed 7 times.

Indus Towers: CLSA has upgraded the stock to 'Buy' and the target has been raised to Rs 450 from Rs 335 earlier.

FMCG stocks: The food regulator has initiated sample collection and testing of companies engaged in making baby food. The products shall be tested for additional sugar as well as salt content. 

Tejas Networks: The company has turned profitable during the March quarter with profitabilty reported at Rs147 crore as against loss of Rs 11 crore. EBITA profit at the company has been at Rs 307 crore as against loss of Rs 9 crore.

M&M Finance: The company's Q4 results are postponed as a fraud amounting to Rs 150 crore has been reported at the company's branch based out of North East. 

Rallis India: The agrochemical company's Q4 delivered EBITDA profit versus loss in the Q4 period. Also, the company's overall loss has been trimmed. Furthermore, revenue at the company however registered a decline of 16.6 per cent on year.

HDFC Bank: Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Financial will invest in the lender's financial services arm HDB Financial Services. 

 

Inox Wind: The company in its board meeting scheduled for April 25 will deliberate on the issuance of bonus equity shares.

Patel Engineering: The company's QIP was opened on April 22 with an issue price pegged at Rs 59.5 per share. Further, issue price will be decided in the company's meet scheduled on April 25.

Indraprastha Medical: Quant Mutual Fund bought 5.5 lakh or 0.6 per cent shares at Rs 249.59 per share.
