Tanla Platform dips over 7% after cloud firm reports weak December-quarter numbers

Tanla Platform Share Price: Tanla Platform slid over 7 per cent on BSE on Wednesday (January 24, 2024) after the cloud platform company reported poor December-quarter results.  

The stock of the company was in dire straits, trading down by 7.17 per cent, or Rs 81.35, at Rs 1052.05 at 11:56 am on Wednesday.

It ended the trading session on Wednesday, down by 7.48 per cent, or Rs 84.90, at Rs 1049.50.

What Tanla Platform Q3 results say

The company's consolidated profit after tax slipped by two per cent to Rs 140.1 crore against Rs 142.5 crore Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ).

The revenue from operations in the quarter under review slid by one per cent to Rs 1002.6 crore from Rs 1008.59 crore in the previous quarter. 

The company's EBITDA was also down by two per cent to Rs 192.8 crore against Rs 196.8 crore QoQ. 

Tanla Platform's margin was also down to 19.2 per cent in the December quarter from 19.5 per cent in the September quarter.

The company also announced a an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share.
