The Indian share market was driven by bulls on Wednesday, November 29, amid heavy buying in financial and information technology (IT) stocks.NSE Nifty 50 reclaimed its 20,000 mark for the first time since September 20, 2023. The Nifty 50 index ended 1.04 per cent, or 206.9 points higher, at 20,096.6, and S&P BSE Sensex closed 1.1 per cent, or 727.71 higher, at 66,901.91.

Here are some stocks that will be in focus on Thursday, November 30:

Three listings today

Three companies, Tata Technologies, Gandhar Oil Refinery, and Fedbank Financial Services are slated to debut on the bourses today. 

UltraTech Cement

The company acquired the 0.54 mtpa cement grinding assets of Burnpur Cement Limited, located in Jharkhand, at a consideration of Rs 169.79 crore. This investment marks the company’s entry into the state.

IDBI Bank

The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management called for fresh bids from asset valuers for IDBI strategic divestment. The bid's due date is January 5, 2024. 

Thomas Cook

Fairbridge Capital (Mauritius) will sell up to an 8.5 per cent stake in the company via an offer for sale (OFS). The OFS includes a base offer of 6.8 per cent and a green shoe option of 1.7 per cent.

Welspun Speciality Solution

The company received orders worth Rs 15.87 crore for the supply of Duplex Grade Seamless Tubes. The said order is expected to be executed by March 2024.

Metro Brands/Nykaa

Foot Locker, Inc., a New York-based speciality athletic retailer, announced the signing of a long-term licensing agreement with Metro Brands Limited (MBL) and Nykaa Fashion. This partnership will offer a comprehensive selection of global sportswear and footwear in India. 

Defence and Shipyard Stocks:

The defence ministry has an important meeting today, and the Indian Navy is expected to get an aircraft carrier ship. The total order value is expected to be around Rs 25000 crore. The Army and Air Force may secure 68+96 light utility helicopters (LUH). Further, the Air Force may get 97 MK1 Tejas fighter jets.

Tata Motors/Federal Bank

It will be a big day in terms of listing, as three of the stocks, including Tata Technologies, Fedbank Financial, and Gandhar Oil, will list today.

Jupiter Waggons

The company launched its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) offer on November 29 at a floor price of Rs 331.34 per share.

PCBL Limited

The company will form a JV with Kinaltek and invest around Rs 134 crore. The JV will work to set up a manufacturing facility for nano-silicon-based goods. For the same, PCBL will invest a sum of Rs 234 crore.

Alembic Pharma

DSP Mutual Fund has acquired an additional 0.02 per cent equity in the firm, taking its total stake to 5.01 per cent.

Tata Chemicals

The Tata Group chemicals firm has reduced the price of domestic soda ash of all grades. For soda ash light, the prices have been slashed by Rs 1,000 per tonne.

Zomato

Alipay Singapore Holding (Alibaba Group) sold 29.60 crore shares in the company through a block deal. Many funds have bought shares, including Morgan Stanley, Societe General, the Government of Singapore, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra MF, and many more.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering

Societe Generale sold 22.05 lakh shares at Rs 140.03/ share
