Domestic equities are likely to open lower on April 26 amid negative global cues. In the overnight trade, Wall Street's major averages suffered their deepest declines so far this month as a downbeat UPS forecast exacerbated investor concerns about a slowing US economy on Tuesday while plunging deposits at regional First Republic Bank added to jitters about the bank sector's health. In the morning, stocks fell in Asia following declines in US equities. At 08:37 am, the SGX Nifty traded 0.14 per cent lower at 17,762 levels.

Earnings today: As many as 24 companies are slated to release their March quarter earnings later in the day today. The list includes names such as Maruti, Voltas, Can Fin Homes, HDFC Life, SBI Life, Poonawalla Fincorp, and KPIT Tech, among others.

Bajaj Auto: Bajaj Auto Ltd reported a 2.5 per cent drop in fourth-quarter profit on Tuesday, as exports of its two- and three-wheelers took a hit due to the impact of high inflation in several of its overseas markets. 

Tata Consumer Products on Tuesday reported a 21.12 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 289.56 crore in the fourth quarter ended on March 31, 2023, led by a mixed growth from volume and price in India business.

AU Small Finance Bank: AU Small Finance Bank on Tuesday reported its highest-ever quarterly profit of Rs 425 crore in the March quarter, up 23 per cent year-on-year. The bank's net profit was Rs 346 crore in the year-ago quarter. Its net profit for the full financial year 2022-23 stood at Rs 1,428 crore, up 26 per cent year-on-year, the lender said in a statement.

Mahindra CIE: Consolidated revenue from continuing operations came in at Rs 2,440 crore, up 9% QoQ. EBITDA for the quarter was at Rs 380.6 crore, up 30 per cent QoQ with corresponding EBITDA margins at 15.6 per cent, up 260 bps QoQ. Profit for the quarter came in at Rs 279 crore against Rs 658 crore loss in Q4CY22 (due to impairment charge)

KPI Green: The company has commissioned a 26.10 MW wind-solar hybrid power project comprising 16.10 MW wind and l0 MW solar capacity, being our own power-generating asset portfolio, at the Shungar site in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, under the Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy 2018.

Dalmia Bharat: The cement maker on Tuesday reported a two-fold increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 609 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022-23. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 271 crore during the January-March quarter a year ago, Dalmia Bharat said in a regulatory filing.

Cipla informed that Madison Pharmaceuticals Inc. (“Madison”), a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of the Company in Delaware, USA, will be dissolved with effect from 28th April 2023. Madison is a dormant entity, and this dissolution will not affect the performance or revenue of the Company, the company said in its press release.
