Jio Financial Services
Jio Financial Services, the financial arm of Reliance Industries, which was demerged from the parent company recently, will be listed on the stock exchanges today. MSCI will include Jio Financial Services in the MSCI Global Standard Indices effective August 23, 2023. FTSE Russell will keep Jio Financial Services in the index, as per reports.
Titan Company
Titan Company will buy an additional 27.18 per cent stake in CaratLane for Rs 4,621 crore. Post-acquisition, Titan's stake in CaratLane will increase from 71.09 per cent to 98.28 per cent. CaratLane is an unlisted subsidiary of the company.
KEC International
The company has received Rs 1,007 crore orders for its various businesses. The order is for the Civil, Transmission, and Distribution, or T&D, and Cables business.
Auto stocks
Bharat Ncap will be launched on August 22, which will enable a 'Made in India' rating for vehicles.
Mahindra & Mahindra
The company announced the inspection of select XUV products. The company will investigate the abrasion cut in the wiring loom of the XUV700 made between June 8, 2021, and June 28, 2023. The company will carry out a wiring loom inspection of a total of 1.08 lakh units and will inspect 3,560 units of XUV400 made between February 16, 2023, to June 5. This action is also in compliance with the Voluntary Code on Vehicle Recall.
Gujarat Gas
As per reports, the company has increased the prices of industrial gas due to the increase in the spot prices of LNG. The price has increased from Rs 38.43/scm to Rs 40.83/scm, and the new rates will be applicable from today. The rates are revised after five consecutive price cuts.
Tanla Platforms
The agreement for the platform and firewall system with Vodafone Idea has been stopped. There will be an impact of Rs 17 crore in revenue and Rs 9 crore in profits every quarter after November 2023. The agreement was for two years.
GMR Airports Infrastructure
Airport Traffic Data for July shows passenger traffic grew by 30 per cent to 98.60 lakh year-on-year (YoY), and aircraft movement in July was up 17 per cent to 64,809 (YoY).
PNB Housing
The company resolved non-performing assets, or NPAs, of Rs 784 crore. The debt is resolved through asset reconstruction Company sales under the Swiss Challenge Method.
BF Utilities
Ved Prakash Agarwal, promoter of Prakash Industries, bought 2.21 lakh shares at 595.64 per share.
Repro India
Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) PTE bought 1.64 lakh shares at 800 per share.
HEG & Graphite
Global brokerage Jefferies has maintained a 'buy' on HEG and raised a target to Rs 2170 apiece from Rs 1460 apiece. The brokerage has maintained a 'buy' on Graphite India and increased the target to Rs 515 apiece from Rs 420 apiece. According to the brokerage, HEG/GRIL are export-oriented plays benefiting from the rising adoption of electric-arc furnace.
Sterling & Wilson Renewable
Promoter, Khurshed Yazdi Daruvala sold 20 lakh shares or a 1.05 per cent stake, for Rs 345.34 per share. Khurshed Yazdi Daruvala’s stake has been reduced to 1.82 per cent from 2.87 per cent.
