Results today, July 28
SBI Card, IOC, Marico, Bank of India; others - Mahindra Fin, MRPL, Chalet Hotels, Nazara Tech, Star Health, Equitas SFB, DCB Bank, Exide Industries, RITES, Supreme Industries, UCO Bank, Fino Payments Bank, Piramal Enterprises, and UBL will announce their June quarter numbers today.
Piramal Enterprises
The company's board will consider the buyback of shares along with its June quarter results.
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd
The Indian government is to sell 3.4 per cent stake, or 7.089 crore shares, through an offer for sale, or OFS. The OFS will open for retail investors today. The total offer size under the Green Shoe option increased from 3.40 per cent to 5.36 per cent.
Lupin
A warning letter issued to the US FDA for the company's Goa, Pithampur Unit-2 case is resolved. After evaluation, the US FDA was satisfied and informed the company.
Piramal Pharma Ltd
The board approved the rights issue on February 8. The rights issue of 12.96 crore shares aggregating up to Rs 1,050 crore The issue price is set at Rs 81 per share, a discount of 25 per cent from the current market price. The rights issue will open between August 8 and August 16 and has an entitlement ratio of 5:46, which is 5 shares for 46 shares.
Bombay Burmah and Airline stocks
GoFirst may start commercial flights after a few days of charter operations. The airlines can fly with a fleet of 15 flights, which will make 114 trips a day. GoFirst is expected to fly on Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Leh airport routes.
Microtech Developers
Realty firm Macrotech Developers reported a 34 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 179.2 crore for the June 2023 quarter on lower income. Its net profit stood at Rs 271.3 crore in the year-ago period. The total income fell to Rs 1,671.8 crore in the April-June quarter of 2023-24 from Rs 2,675.8 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, said Macrotech Developers in a regulatory filing.
Motilal Oswal Financial Services
Motilal Oswal Financial Services reported a consolidated net profit multiplying nearly 3.2 times from the year-ago period to Rs 527 crore on July 27. The company's consolidated revenue was up 98.9 per cent.
POWERGRID Infrastructure Investment Trust
POWERGRID Infrastructure Investment Trust (PGInvIT) reported a 10 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 190.90 crore in the June quarter. The consolidated net profit of the company was at Rs 213.88 crore in the quarter that ended June 30, 2022, according to a BSE filing.
JK Lakshmi Cement
JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd reported a 30.65 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 79.79 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, with rain and cyclone Biparjoy impacting operations in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The company, which posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 115.07 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, said its board has approved raising of up to Rs 2,500 crore through debt to part-finance its ongoing projects and fund various growth opportunities, including inorganic growth.
Sona BLW Precision
Auto component maker Sona BLW Precision Forgings said its consolidated net profit increased by 47 per cent to Rs 112 crore in the June quarter. The company posted a net profit of Rs 76 crore in the April-June period of the last fiscal.
Nippon AMC
Nippon India Mutual Fund said its net income more than doubled (107 per cent) to Rs 236 core for the June 2023 quarter, primarily driven by the gains from a robust capital market. The city-based company, in a statement, said its income rose to Rs 471 crore from Rs 388 crore a year ago.
Indian Hotels
Tata Group hospitality firm Indian Hotels Company Ltd reported a 30.5 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 236.01 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2023, driven by strong revenue growth. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 180.84 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) said in a regulatory filing.
Ajmera Realty & Infrastructure
Ajmera Realty & Infra India reported an 82 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 21.07 crore in the June quarter. Its net profit stood at Rs 11.57 crore in the year-ago period, the company said.
Bharat Electronics (BEL)
'Navratna' defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a turnover of Rs 3,446.69 crore, registering a growth of 12.51 per cent during the first quarter of 2023-24 over the Rs 3,063.58 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. Profit after tax (PAT) during the first quarter of 2023-24 stood at Rs 530.84 crore, up 23.02 per cent over Rs 431.49 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Netweb Tech India Ltd
LANSFORSAKRINGAR ASIENFOND bought 28 lakh shares worth Rs 259.07 crore at Rs 925.15 per share and BNP PARIBAS ARBITRAGE bought 3.37 lakh shares worth Rs 31.2 crore at 924.13 per share.
Cipla
Cipla has clarified that the company is not aware of any event that requires disclosure under Listing Regulations."The Company will make appropriate disclosure in compliance with the Listing Regulations as and when any such requirement arises," the company said in a filing. The clarification came regarding reports that Cipla promoters are looking to sell a part stake in the promoter shareholding to private equity investors.
Godfrey Phillips India
In its Board meeting, the company declared a dividend. The dividend will be paid within 30 days of the Annual General Meeting for Fiscal Year 2022-2023. The dividend is payable on Friday, August 11, 2023. For the first quarter of fiscal year 2023-24, net profit increased by 68.61 per cent to 220.97 crore. On July 27, the shares of Godfrey Phillips India increased 10.68 per cent to Rs 1908.80.
Shyam Metallics and Energy
Integrated metal producer reported a 42.8 percent year-on-year rise in net profit at Rs 237.4 crore for the first quarter that ended June 30, 2023. In the quarter, total revenue stood at Rs 3,306.8 crore during the period under review, up 2.6 percent against Rs 3,223.2 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
