Global cues and SGX Nifty indicate a subdued start to the Indian equities on Thursday, April 27, 2023. At 07:57 am, the Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) traded 0.16 per cent lower at 17,801.0 points. In the overnight trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 228.96 points, or 0.68 per cent, to 33,301.87, the S&P 500 lost 15.64 points, or 0.38 per cent, to 4,055.99 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 55.19 points, or 0.47 per cent to 11,584.35. European stocks closed lower, dragged down by healthcare stocks after the European Union published its much anticipated proposed overhauls of the EU's pharmaceuticals industry.

Coforge: The company released its March quarter numbers early morning today. The company reported a profit of Rs 114.8 crore for the three-month period. Revenue growth stood at 4.7% in constant currency terms (QoQ).
Bajaj Finance: Its profit after tax for Q4 FY23 increased by 30 per cent to Rs 3,158 crore from Rs 2,420 crore registered in Q4 FY22. Net interest income rose 28 per cent YoY to Rs 7,771 crore. The asset quality of the company also improved. The company also announced a dividend of Rs 30 per share.
L&T Technolgy Services on April 26, 2023, announced a final dividend of Rs 30 of the face value of Rs 2 (1500 per cent) for fiscal 2022-23 along with the release of March quarter numbers. For the March quarter (Q4FY23), revenue stood at Rs 2,096.2 crore, up 19 per cent year-on-year (YoY) while revenue in constant currency terms grew 12 per cent YoY to $255.1 million. EBIT margin stood at 18.7 per cent while net profit during the quarter grew 18 per cent YoY to Rs 309.6 crore.
HDFC Life: HDFC Life Insurance on April 26 reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 361.97 crore for the March quarter of FY23, down 28.49 per cent YoY. The net premium income of the insurer came in at Rs 19,468.60 crore, up 24.59 per cent YoY.
SBI Life reported a 15 per cent rise YoY rise in its net profit at Rs 777 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022-23. The annualised premium equivalent (APE) for the quarter under review came in at Rs 4,550 crore, up 10 per cent higher YoY.
Voltas Ltd posted a 21.2 per cent drop in fourth-quarter profit, as the air conditioner and refrigerator maker remained under pressure from the termination of some overseas contracts. Consolidated net profit fell to Rs 144 crore ($17.62 million) in the quarter ended March 31, compared with Rs 183 crore a year earlier, the company said.
Can Fin Homes: The Board of Directors of the company recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per equity share of the face value of Rs 2 each to the shareholders of the Company for the financial year 2022-23.
