Stocks to watch on Thursday, April 25: At 8:20 am, Gift Nifty futures traded weak by 59.7 points at 22,355. The Indian benchmark indices Nifty50 and Sensex advanced on Wednesday, April 24, led by gains in heavyweight financials and metals stocks. Extending the gains for the fourth consecutive session, the Nifty index ended 34.4 points, or 0.15 per cent, higher at 22,402.4, and the Sensex settled with gains of 114.49 points, or 0.16 per cent, at 73,852.94.
Here are some stocks that will be in focus on Thursday, April 25:
Results on April 25: Bajaj Finance, Nestle India, Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, L&T Technology Services, Mphasis, ACC, Laurus Labs , Coromandel International and Vedanta will announce their Q4 numbers on Thursday.
HUL: Hindustan Unilever registered a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 2,561 crore against Rs 2,601, down 1.5 per cent year-on-year (YOY). Its revenue from operations stood at Rs 15,013 crore against Rs 14,926 crore YoY.
Axis Bank: The public sector lender's net profit for the January to March quarter stood at Rs 7,130 crore against a loss of Rs 5,728.4 crore.
LTIMindtree: LTIMindtree, the country's fifth-largest IT company by market value, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,099.9 crore for the January-March period, down 5.9 per cent on a quarter-on-quarter basis and falling short of analysts' expectations.
Tata Motors: Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vertelo for the delivery of 2,000 XPRES-T Electric Vehicles.
Kotak Mahindra Bank: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday barred Kotak Mahindra Bank from issuing new credit cards. The apex bank has also directed the private lender to stop adding new customers via online mode.
Indian Hotels: The company posted mixed Q4 results with revenues for Q4 inching higher by 17.2 per cent and profit climbing 27 per cent on year.
AU Small Finance Bank: The lender reported mixed Q4 performance with profit declining 12.7 per cent, while asset quality at the lender improved. Citi and Nomura both raised target on the stock.
Dalmia Bharat: The company's results came in lower than estimates with revenue inching higher by 10 per cent, while profit declined 46.5 per cent. The margin at the company declined from 18.1 per cent to 15.2 per cent in the review period.
Oracle Financial Services: The company reported a weak March-quarter performance with revenues down 9.9 per cent, while profit declining 24.4 per cent.
ITC: As per the instructions of NCLT, Kolkata, there is scheduled a shareholders' meeting on June 6, wherein shareholder approval shall be taken for the demerger of the company's hotel business.
