Stocks to watch on Tuesday: At 08:27 AM, GIFT Nifty traded 21 points, or 0.11 per cent higher at 19,877.5, indicating a flat start with a positive bias for domestic equities on Tuesday, November 28. The markets were closed on Monday, November 27, on account of Gurunanak Jayanti. Sensex and Nifty on Friday, November 24, finished another volatile session unchanged as weakness in IT and FMCG shares offset strength in financial names. The Nifty50 closed 7.3 points, or 0.04 per cent lower, at 19,794.7, while the Sensex lost 47.77 points, or 0.07 per cent, for the day to end at 65,970.04.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has slapped penalties aggregating Rs 10.34 crore on Citibank, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Overseas Bank for contravention of norms.

Fortis Healthcare: 

Fortis Healthcare Limited to disinvest Fortis Malar Hospital, Chennai, to MGM Healthcare. The sale is estimated to be nearly Rs 128 crore. 

Newgen Software:

The board approved bonus shares for which, the record date is January 12, 2024. The board also increased the authorised share capital of the company to over Rs. 180 crore.

The company announced its Q2 results on Saturday, November 25. The company posted a 4.6 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 86.6 crore against Rs 82.2 crore in the last quarter.

DLF: 

As per the company filing, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided DLF, a prominent real estate group in Gurugram, on Friday. The raid was in connection with its money probe against another builder, Supertech Group, people familiar with the development said on Saturday.

PB Fintech:

Paytm: 

As per reports, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has exited Paytm by selling an entire 2.46 per cent stake.

PNB Housing:  

The Board of Directors has approved the issuance of non-convertible debentures up to Rs 3,500 crore on a private placement basis in tranches over the next six months.

Eicher Motors: 

The introductory price of Rs 2.69 lakh for new Himalayan is valid till December 31.

Maruti Suzuki: 

The company will increase the prices of its cars in January 2024, on account of increased cost pressure driven by overall inflation and increased commodity prices.
