Signatureglobal (India) Ltd slid over seven per cent in morning deals on BSE on Wednesday despite the real estate company launching an affordable housing project in Gurugram.

The stock of the real estate firm was trading lower by 6.83 per cent, or Rs 92.50, at Rs 1261.60 at 11:01 am on Wednesday.

After closing the trading session at Rs 1354.10 a day ago, Signatureglobal (India) began trading on Wednesday at the same price. 

However, the stock soon fell to the day's low of Rs 1258.45, a 7.06 per cent fall from the close on Tuesday.

The stock's day's high is Rs 1363.20, a mere 0.67 per cent jump.

Signatureglobal's affordable housing project in Gurugram

In a statement on Tuesday, the company said that through its subsidiary it had launched a new project under Affordable Housing Policy 2013 as “Orchard Avenue-3” in Sector 93, Gurugram. 

"The Project, consists of total 235 units, with area spread over 1.66 acres," Signatureglobal (India) said in the statement.
