Share Market News: At around 8:13 am, GIFT Nifty futures traded higher by 0.15 per cent or 39.2 points at 25,395.5, indicating a positive opening on the D-Street.

Domestic equity benchmarks scaled fresh peaks on Thursday as the Sensex surged 1439.6 points, or 1.8 per cent, to close at 82,962.7 and the Nifty50 settled with a gain of 470.5 points, or 1.9 per cent, at 25,388.9, driven by buying across sectors led by financial, IT, energy, and auto stocks. As Dalal Street participants await the last trading session of the week, here's a list of stocks that are set to be in focus on Friday including SBI Card, Power Grid, HCLTech, IGL, and Prataap Snacks.

Power Grid 

Power Grid has been declared as the successful bidder under tariff-based competitive bidding to establish an interstate transmission system for the augmentation of transformation capacity at Jam Khambhaliya PS (GIS) on a build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) basis.

The PSU received the Letter of Intent (LoI) on September 12.

HCLTech

HCLTech has completed the acquisition of Paris-headquartered software company Zeena SAS.

SBI Card 

SBI Card's board will meet on September 18 to consider a proposal to issue NCDs worth up to Rs 5,000 crore. Read more
