Share Market News July 16: Nestle India, SpiceJet, Dr Reddys, Bajaj Auto, M&M Financial, Lupin, other stocks to track on Tuesday

Share Market News July 16: At around 8:13 am, GIFT Nifty futures traded higher by 0.08 per cent or 19.3 points at 24,641 indicating a positive to muted opening on the D-Street. Domestic equity benchmarks scaled fresh record closing highs on Monday amid strong buying in financial, IT and energy shares, although selling pressure in auto shares kept the uspide in check. Analysts awaited more of quarterly earnings reports from India Inc for domestic cues, with Bajaj Auto - which recently launched the CNG-powered Freedom motorcycle - scheduled to report its financial results for the April-June period on Tuesday, July 16. A bunch of companies - including Jubilant Ingrevia, Crisil, Century Textiles & Industries and Aditya Birla Money - will also release their quarterly numbers on the same day.

Corporate Earnings | Bajaj Auto to release April-June (Q1 FY25) results on Tuesday

According to Zee Business research, Bajaj Auto is estimated to register an 18.9 per cent year-on-year increase in its standalone net profit to Rs 1,980 crore for the April-June period with 14.4 per cent growth in revenue to Rs 11,790 crore. Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) to sell water purification unit 

Hindustan Unilever has announced the sale of its water purification business, under the brand Pureit, to AO Smith India Water Products for about Rs 600 crore. 

Lupin in focus

Lupin has divested the US commercial women's health specialty unit to Evofem Biosciences, a US-based biopharma company focusing exclusively on women’s health, according to a regulatory filing by the Mumbai-headquartered drug maker.

Lemon Tree Hotels opens its first hotel in Jharkhand

Lemon Tree Hotels has opened its first hotel in Jharkhand. 

Vedanta 

The company's QIP was launched on July 15 with the floor price pegged at Rs 461.26 per share, a premium of 0.4 per cent as against the current market price. The company's board last month approved to raise Rs 8,500 crore.

HAL & Bharat Electronics

To promote Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), a uniform IGST of 5 per cent will be levied on aircraft part and aircraft engine part. Earlier, the IGST was in the range of 5-28 per cent but now only 5 per cent IGST will be charged.
