Share Market News July 11: At around 8:14 am, GIFT Nifty futures traded higher by 0.19 per cent or 47.45 points at 24,402.5, indicating a positive opening on the D-Street. Domestic equity benchmarks first scaled and then retreated from their respective all-time highs in yet another volatile session on Wednesday, as selling pressure in auto and financial stocks outweighed gains in consumer durable counters. Both headline indices finished about half a per cent lower, with the Sensex dropping 426.9 points to 79,924.8 and the Nifty losing 108.8 points to settle at 24,324.5. Investors awaited the onset of a new results season on Dalal Street for domestic cues with Tata group IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) all set to report its financial results for the April-June period on Thursday.

Tata Elxsi share market news

Tata group company Tata Elxsi reported its financial results for the June quarter post-market hours on Wednesday. Its net profit for the April-June period declined 6.5 per cent sequentially to Rs 184.1 crore, according to a regulatory filing. Read more

State Bank of India (SBI) - the country's largest lender - raised a sum of Rs 10,000 crore on Wednesday at a coupon rate of 7.36 per cent infrastructure bonds. Read more

Power Grid share market news

Power Grid's board on Wednesday approved a proposal to borrow up to Rs 16,000 crore in FY26 through various sources including domestic bonds.

IRCTC

The company has inked an agreement with DMRC and CRIS for the One India- One Ticket initiative. 

Asian Paints 

The company has clarified on media news stating that at the portfolio level it has increased rates by around 1 per cent with effect from July 22. 

Dividend stocks

Bharat Seats, Century Textiles & Industries, Route Mobile, Sky Industries and VTM are among the stocks scheduled to trade ex-dividend on Thursday. 

Bonus stock

Alliance Integrated Metaliks shares are slated to trade ex-bonus on the same day.

Shipping stocks

GE Shipping, Mazaon Dock Shipbuilders and other shipping stocks will be in focus as according to sources the industry may get a big boost in the upcoming budget with the extension of Shipbuilding scheme beyond 2026. Under the scheme, up to 20 per cent financial assistance is given. Also, there is a possibility of announcement of Budget Maritime Development Fund.

Anand Rathi Wealth, NELCO and GTPL Hathways

These stocks will be in focus as they are set to release their Q1FY25 earnings later today.
