Share Market News: ONGC, BPCL, Apollo Hospital Enterprises, Vodafone Idea, CDSL, other stocks to track on Friday

Share Market News August 30: Domestic equity benchmarks settled at record closing highs on Thursday, led by energy and FMCG stocks although losses in metal shares limited the upside. Both main indices gained 0.4 per cent with the Sensex rising 349.1 points to end at 82,134.6 and the Nifty50 gaining 99.6 points to finish at 25,152. During the session, the Sensex and the Nifty50 clocked all-time highs of 82,285.8 and 25,192.9 respectively. 

Investors await the release of official data on the country's GDP in the June quarter due post-market hours on Friday. 

Before that, a few stocks are set to be in focus on Dalal Street, including ONGC, BPCL, Vodafone Idea, and PFC. Here's the list:  

Corporate Earnings

Newly-listed Brainbees (First Cry) and Unicommerce eSolutions are scheduled to report their quarterly numbers on Friday. 

Annual General Meetings

BPCL , ONGC, and Apollo Hospital Enterprises are due to conduct their annual general meetings during the day. 

Vodafone Idea in focus

The apex court is set to hear the curated petion of telecom companies including Vodafone Idea in the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) matter on Friday.  

Board Meetings

Insecticides India and Fortis Healthcare's boards are set to meet on Friday to consider a share buyback through the tender route and a proposal to raise funds, respectively.

Dividend Stock

PFC shares are scheduled to trade ex-dividend. 

Index Rejig Takes Effect

A recent index reshuffling by MSCI is set to take impact from the closing bell on Friday.
