Sail Dividend 2024 Record Date, Sail Dividend 2024 Payment Date: Steel Authority of India (SAIL), one of the largest steel producers in India, has announced its third-quarter results. The Maharatna company has also declared an interim dividend.

Sail has announced a dividend of Re 1 per equity share of Rs 10 each i.e. 10 per cent of the paid-up equity share of the capital of the company.

The company has announced the record date for payment of interim dividend. According to the exchange filing, February 20 has been fixed as the record date for the purpose of identifying the eligible shareholders. The company has not announced anything related to payment date.

Meanwhile, the state-owned company reported a 22 per cent fall in its consolidated net profit to Rs 422.92 crore for the Q3 FY23 due to lower income. The steel maker had posted a net profit of Rs 542.18 crore during the October-December period of 2022-23.

The company's total income fell to Rs 23,492.33 crore in the third quarter of FY24 from Rs 25,140.16 crore a year ago, according to an exchange filing by the company.

Meanwhile, the stock has fallen by Rs 6.55 in the opening session. The counter opened at Rs 119 and fell as much as 5.32 per cent to the day's low of Rs 116.35.
