Rekha Jhunjhunwala held 4,69,45,970 equity shares or a 5.29 per cent stake in Titan Company, according to the March 2023 shareholding pattern of the company available on the BSE.
She had 4,58,95,970 shares or 5.17 per cent stake in Tata Group company as of December 2022 quarter.
This means, the celebrity investor has bought an extra 10,50,000 equity shares or 0.12 per cent stake in jewellery and watches company during the previous quarter as per latest shareholding pattern.
According to SEBI norms, all the listed companies have an obligation to disclose the names of their key shareholders owning a per cent or more on a quarterly basis.
Rekha Jhunjhunwala is the wife of the late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, who was called the Big Bull of Dalal Street. Rakesh died last year in August at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital due to a cardiac ailment.
Earlier in March 2023, billionaire stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was given the Padma Shri posthumously. It was accepted by the family members of the market veteran.

The counter has grown 2.5 times in the last three years – from Rs 975 apiece in April 2020 to Rs 2,580 per share on Thursday, April 13 closing.
In the last one year, Titan shares have been largely flat with the meager rise of 3.5 per cent, while it dipped by around 1.5 per cent in the last six months.
