Budget 2024: Railway stocks were trading mixed after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made a few important announcements related to train facilities in India. In her Interim Budget 2024 speech on Thursday (February 1, 2024), she said that the central government would build three railway corridors for energy, minerals, and cement.
Further, she also said that as many as 40,000 railway coaches will be converted to Vande Bharat standard. At the same time, Metro Rail will be expanded to other cities as well.

The stock of the ticket and hotel booking company ended the trading session on Thursday lower by 1.57 per cent, or Rs 15.35, at Rs 963.00.
RVNL
The stock of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited ended the session on alower note, down by 3.49 per cent, or Rs 10.75, at Rs 297.55.
BEML
The stock of the company hit a 52-week high of Rs 3854.95 on Thursday. The stock closed its session up by 8.83 per cent, or Rs 309.45, at Rs 3815.50.
IRCON
The stock of the government firm also closed the trading session on a lower note, down by 3.69 per cent, or Rs 8.75, at Rs 228.60.
IRFC
The stock of Indian Railway Finance Corporation finished the trading session on Thursday down by 2.85 per cent, or Rs 4.98, at Rs 170.05.
Titagarh Rail Systems Limited
The stock of the railway coach factory ended the session down by 0.55 per cent, or Rs 6.00, at Rs 1,088.05.
RITES
RITES ended the trading session lower by 5.42 per cent, or Rs 40.30, at Rs 702.85.
