RailTel Share Price: The stock of RailTel Corporation of India jumped in the morning session on BSE on Wednesday (February 14, 2024) after the company receivied an order from Prasar Bharati Broadcasting for an OTT platform.

Railtel shares closed the trading session on Wednesday up by 2.67 per cent, or Rs 9.80, at Rs 376.45 each.

What is RailTel new order?

In a statement on Tuesday, Railtel said: "This is to inform that RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. ("the Company") has received the work order from Prasar Bharati Broadcasting Corporation of India for Design,Development, Implementation, Operations and Maintenance amounting to Rs. 1,39,73,56,000 (Including Tax)."

Railtel is one of the biggest gainer railway stocks with a jump of 126.83 per cent in the six months and 223.61 per cent in the one year. It outperformed the benchmark Nifty 50, which has risen by 11.20 per cent in the six months and 20.53 per cent in the year.
