RailTel dividend: Telecom infra provider announces 10% payout—check out record date

RailTel dividend: RailTel's board announced an interim dividend at the rate of 10 per cent of paid-up share capital to its shareholders on Thursday, October 26. The board declared a dividend of Re 1 per equity share of the face value of Rs 1 per equity share.

The board of the PSU has also approved Saturday, November 4, as the record date for the purpose of paying an interim dividend for the financial year 2023–24.

Railtel Q2 results

Railtel reported a 23.6 per cent jump in its consolidated profit after tax, to Rs 68 crore for the second quarter compared to Rs 55 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company's revenue jumped 39.6 per cent to Rs 599 crore in Q2 in comparison to Rs 429 crore year-on-year. The EBIDTA in the quarter under review rose 15 per cent to Rs 115 crore from Rs 100 crore logged in the same quarter last year.
