The counter opened gap up with a gain of around 2.2 per cent from the previous close of Rs 476 on the BSE. The scrip gained further to hit the day's high of Rs 510.85 - a gain of 7.32 per cent from the previous close. Last seen the counter was trading at Rs 505.60.

Oil India Bonus Share Ratio

The PSU has already announced the issuance of a 1:2 bonus share for its investors. In other words, the investors having two equity shares of the company will get one equity share of Rs 10 face value.

The company has fixed July 2 as the ex-date or record date for this corporate action. This means today is the last day to buy shares in order to qualify for receiving bonus shares of the company.

As per the BSE analytics, the PSU stock has given a multibagger return of over 210 per cent in one year and 255 per cent in two years. The counter has already gained over 100 per cent so far this year and has gained over 98 per cent in six months.
