Stocks to watch today: At 7:05 am, Gift Nifty traded higher by 0.68 per cent gains at 23,566, indicating a postiive opening on the D-Street on the D-day. Indian equities on the previous day boosted by a host of favorables such as the exit poll verdict which predicts BJP victory ended sharply higher, registering its best one-day gains in three years. Nifty ended 3.25 per cent higher at 23,263.9, while Sensex added 3.39 per cent to close at a record high of 76,468.78. Here's a host of stocks that will likely see action today:

Trent: Tata Group's retail company is making a foray in the international markets with a flagship store in Dubai, targeting primarily the Indian community.

Kalyan Jewellers: The jewellery retailer has acquired the remaining 15 per cent stake in Candere at a finacial consideration of Rs 42 crore.
