Domestic equity benchmarks finished a volatile session with mild losses on Friday as selling pressure in financial and energy shares outweighed buying interest in IT counters. The Sensex lost 241.3 points, or 0.3 per cent, to end at 77,378.9 while the Nifty50 shed 95 points, or 0.4 per cent, to settle at 23,431.5.

Q3 Results

HCLTech, Angel One and Anand Rathi Wealth are set to report their financial results on Monday.

Anand Rathi Wealth

The company’s board is scheduled to meet on Monday to consider a bonus.

NCL Industries

The company has reported a 12 per cent fall in its cement production to 6.61 lakh tonnes in Q3.

Ugro Capital

The company has registered a 32.1 per cent rise in its assets under management to Rs 11,050 crore in the December quarter.

Its disbursements have grown 2.8 times to Rs 500 crore.

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance

The private sector insurance company has reported a 15.6 per cent increase in its annual premium equivalent (APE) to Rs 866 crore in the December quarter.

APE is a measure of growth in new business sales. 

DMart

Avenue Supermarts (DMart) has reported a worse-than-expected set of financial results for the December quarter.

Its quarterly net profit declined to Rs 724 crore, from Rs 691 crore a year ago, while its margin slipped by 60 bps to 7.6 per cent.

According to Zee Business research, DMart was estimated to register a quarterly net profit of Rs 832 crore while maintaining a margin of 8.2 per cent.

PCBL

PCBL has logged a 37 per cent fall in its net profit to Rs 93 crore for the December quarter.

The company’s margin has contracted by 100 bps to 16 per cent.

Ola Electric Mobility  

The company has received a notice from the CCPA seeking information related to 10,000 consumer complaints.

Signatureglobal (India) 

The company has purchased a land parcel of 16.12 acres in Gurugram, Haryana.

Waaree Energies  

The company has signed a share purchase agreement with Enel Green Power Development, wherein it will buy out the 100 per cent stake from Enel Green Power India for Rs 792 crore.

The transaction is set to be completed in three months.

Interarch Building Products  

Interarch Building Products has secured two orders amounting to Rs 221 crore from Tata Projects.

Escorts Kubota  

Escorts Kubota is in the process of launching a new series of products, called Promaxx (under Farmtrac), in the agri machinery segment.

Poly Medicure  

Poly Medicure has signed a joint venture agreement with AMPIN C&I Power for a solar power project in Haryana.

Patanjali Foods 

The company has settled a GST demand notice received on April 19 last year, reducing a demand amounting to Rs 27.46 crore to Rs 44.82 lakh including interest and penalty.

NLC India 

A subsidiary of the company has signed a joint venture pact with Assam Power Distribution.

HEG 

HEG has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ceylon Graphene Technologies.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance 

The private sector insurance company has secured an income tax relief of Rs 174.61 crore.
