Nasdaq ended  over 1 per cent lower in Monday's session 

Dow Jones declined 0.94 per cent

S&P 500 also fell around 1 per cent

Japan's Nikkei, meanwhile, traded with a cut of over 1 per cent.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng witnessed a sharp cut of nearly 7 per cent.

Previous session summary

In the previous session amid relentless FII selling and heightening geopolitical tensions, Indian equities ended lower for the sixth straight day with the Nifty ending below 24,800 levels.

Crude oil price 

Oil prices also rose as tensions in the Middle East remain high. Brent crude last traded above $79 per bbl levels.
