Nestle India—whose popular products include Maggi instant noodles and KitKat—announced its second interim dividend of Rs 140 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10 for its shareholders along with its Q2 earnings report last month.

Nestle India shares opened flat at Rs 24,200 on the NSE after the dividend adjustment. The counter ended at Rs 23,905, down by 0.79 per cent on the NSE.

The board has also fixed November 1 as the record date for the second interim dividend. The second interim dividend will be paid on and from November 16 as per regulatory filing.

"Second Interim Dividend for the year 2023 will be paid on and from 16th November 2023 to those members whose names appear in the Register of Members of the Company and as beneficial owners in the Depositories, as on the Record Date fixed for the purpose, i.e., 1st November 2023," the company's regulatory filing read. In addition, Nestle India's board has also approved the sub-division of its shares in the ratio of 1:10.
