Nestle announces 270% interim dividend; check out dividend amount, record date, other details

Nestle dividend date 2023, Nestle dividend record date: FMCG major Nestle India Ltd on Wednesday declared an interim dividend for the year 2023 to its shareholders. Besides, the company has also fixed the record date for the payment of the dividend. 

According to an exchange filing by Nestle, the board of the company has approved the payment of Rs 27 dividend per equity share having a face value of Rs 10 each. 

"This is to inform you that the Board of Directors at their meeting held today declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 27/- (Rupees Twenty-Seven Only) per equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the year 2023 on the entire issued, subscribed and paid-up share capital of the Company of 9,64,15,716 equity shares of the nominal value of Rs. 10/- each," the exchange filing reads.

Nestle Dividend 2023 Record Date

Nestle has also fixed the Record Date for the purpose of determining the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of the final dividend. According to the company, the record date is April 21, 2023.

Nestle has also fixed May 8, 2023 as the payment date. According to the company, the interim dividend for the year 2023 will be paid along with the final dividend for the year 2022. However, this will be paid if approved by the members at the 64th Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on 12th April 2023.

Meanwhile, the company's trading window for dealing in its securities will remained closed till 27 April for designated people, according to a previous exchange filing.
