Mutual Fund NFO: Quantum AMC has launched a new fund offer (NFO)- Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund. The fund house opened the subscription for its NFO on Monday (February 19, 2024). The subscription will close on March 1, 2024, for this open ended equity scheme.
Mutual Fund NFO: Quantum AMC launched a new fund offer (NFO)- Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund- on Monday (February 19, 2024). The fund started the subscription for its new scheme on February 19. The last date to subscribe Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund is March 1, 2024. It is an open ended equity scheme that invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments, debt and money market instruments, and gold-related instruments.
Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund: Fund manager
This NFO will be managed by Chief Investment Officer Chirag Mehta and Fund Manager, Fixed Income, Pankaj Pathak of Quantum AMC.
Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund: Objective
The objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation and income by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments, debt and money market instruments, and gold-related instruments.
Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund: Benchmark
The scheme will be benchmarked against NIFTY 50 TRI (40%)+CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund AII Index (45%) + Domestic Price of Gold (15%).
The scheme will have direct and regular plans.
Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund: Minimum investment
In Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund, investors can make a lump sum investment of Rs 500 and in multiples of Rs 1. After this, a minimum additional investment of Rs 1 can be made in multiples of Rs 500 and Rs 1.
Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund: SIP details
Investors can also choose the SIP route with a minimum investment of Rs 500. You can make Rs 100 daily and Rs 500 (weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly).
Quantum Multi Asset Allocation Fund: Investment strategy
The fund manager will invest in equity and equity-related instruments (35-65%), debt and money market instruments (25-55) and gold-related instruments (10-20%).
The fund will primarily invest in securities of equity and other large cap stocks of Nifty 50 index, Sovereign and PSU debt securities during the period for its regular inmat allocation and Quantum Gold ETF and other gold-related instruments for its gold component.

Commenting on the fund launch, Chirag Mehta, Chief Investment Officer, Quantum AMC, said, the number of investors in mutual funds is increasing rapidly and this fund provides these first-time investors with diversification as well as equity market approach.
Pankaj Pathak, Co-Manager and Senior Fund Manager, Quantum AMC, said that this fund has been launched with the intention of providing an alternative to fixed deposits by potentially providing better returns in the long term.
"The fund makes investing easy with its one-stop diversified solution that invests across different asset classes and enhances tax efficiency through indexation benefits. Investors will benefit significantly in the 30 per cent tax slab compared to traditional fixed deposits."
