Multibagger construction PSU NBCC's stock rose on BSE on Tuesday (July 30, 2024) after its subsidiary Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL) got two orders worth Rs 444 crore from Medical Education and Ayush, Govt. of Maharashtra.

After closing the trading session at Rs 187.60 a day ago, the NBCC stock rose by 1.39 per cent to jump to Tuesday's high of Rs 190.20.

The stock closed the trading session on Tuesday lower by 1.39 per cent, or Rs 2.60, at Rs 185.00. 

What are HSCL's orders?

The order worth Rs 403.89 crore is for the construction of a new government medical college of 100 student capacity and a 430-bed hospital at Parbhani. 

Another order worth Rs 39.72 crore is for the construction of residential doctors and interns hostel building in the premises of Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sarvopchar Rugnalaya at Solapur. 

NBCC share price history

The stock of the construction PSU has soared by 20.79 per cent in one month; 48.71 per cent in three months, and 308.86 per cent in the one-year period. 

Benchmark Nifty 50, meanwhile, has jumped by 3.35 per cent in one month, 15.93 per cent in six months, and 26.31 per cent in one year.
