MRF dividend: Tyre maker recommends Rs 169/share final dividend for its investors
MRF dividend: Indian equity benchmarks Nifty 50 and Sensex were under pressure on Wednesday, tracking nervousness among investors globally ahead of a key decision on benchmark interest rates by the Fed, the US central bank.
MRF dividend: Tyre manufacturing company MRF on Wednesday announced a dividend payout of 1,690 per cent final dividend to its shareholders i.e., the company declared a final dividend of Rs 169 per equity share with a face value Rs 10.
"The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 169/- (1690%) .- per share of Rs.10 each. The Company has already declared and paid two interim dividends of RS.3/030%) each per share for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023," the company's regulatory filing said. MRF's total dividend for the financial year ended March 31 2023 works out to Rs 175 i.e., 1,750 per cent per share of Rs 10 each.

MRF shares have zoomed 26 per cent in the last year, a time period in which the headline index Nifty 50 has given a positive return of nearly 8 per cent.
The 52-week high and low of the scrip are Rs 96,000 and Rs 65,878.35 respectively. The counter hit an all-time high of Rs 92,900 on November 7, 2022 and an all-time low of Rs 65,878.35 on June 17, 2022.
