MCX jumps over 4.40% after Zee Business report got confirmed that crude, natural gas option will trade on exchange from April 23

MCX Share Price: Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) jumped over four per cent on BSE on Monday (April 22, 2024) after Zee Business' news got confirmed that crude oil, natural gas mini options will start trading on MCX from April 23.

The stock of the exchange got a morning boost as after opening at Rs 3843.70 as it raced to the day's high of Rs 3,959.25, a 4.43 per cent rise from its previous close of Rs 3,791.30.

The stock ended the trading session higher by 2.95 per cent, or Rs 111.95, at Rs 3,903.25 on Monday. 

In a report on April 9, Zee Business had reported that Sebi had approved options in mini contracts of crude and natural gas.
