While Maruti Suzuki and Eicher Motors have reported below Zee Business research estimate numbers, Tata Motors has reported mixed numbers. On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp and TVS Motor have reported above-estimate numbers. Escort Kubota, meanwhile, has come up with in-line numbers. Maruti Suzuki

The stock slipped by 1.83 per cent to the day's low of Rs 12571.80 on Thursday after closing at Rs 12806.45 in the previous session.

The Maruti Suzuki stock that opened at Rs 12762.85 on Thursday was trading lower by 1.68 per cent, or Rs 253.90 at Rs 12552.55 at 9:35 am.

Maruti Suzuki registers total sales of 1,68,089 units (comprising sales in the domestic as well as foreign markets) in April 2024 as against 1,60,529 units in April 2023, falling short of analysts' expectations. 

Tata Motors 

Tata Motors jumped by 1.21 per cent to the day's high of Rs 1020.00 after closing at Rs 1007.85 in the previous session.

The stock that started its journey at Rs 1018.90 on Thursday was trading higher by 0.53 per cent, or Rs 5.35 at Rs 1013.20 today.

Hero MotoCorp 

The two-wheeler leader rose by 1.64 per cent to the day's high of Rs 4617.10 after closing at Rs 4542.40 in the previous session.

The Hero MotoCorp stock was trading higher by 0.61 per cent, or Rs 27.55 at Rs 4569.95 today. 

TVS Motor 

The TVS Motor stock jumped by 2.66 per cent to the day's high of Rs 2116.95 after closing at Rs 2062.00 a day ago.

The stock was trading higher by 0.82 per cent, or Rs 16.85, at Rs 2078.85 today. 

Escorts Kubota 

Shares of Escorts Kubota rose by 0.81 per cent to the day's high of Rs 3382.45 after closing at Rs 3355.20 a day before.

The stock was trading higher by 0.26 per cent, or Rs 8.65, at Rs 3363.85 today.
