Maruti Suzuki India slips after slump in passenger car production in February
Maruti Suzuki's total production in February rose by 11.50 per cent to 1.78 lakh units YoY. Its UV production also increased by 2.13 times to 56,872 lakh units YoY. However, the company's passenger car production was down by 11.75 per cent to 1.04 lakh units YoY.
Maruti Suzuki India Share Price: Maruti Suzuki recovered to close flat in a special tarding session on BSE on Saturday after an 11.75 per cent Year-on-Year (YoY) fall in its passenger car production in February.
The company's overall production, however, witnessed an 11 per cent rise YoY.
The stock closed the trading session on Saturday lower by 0.41 per cent, or Rs 48.05, at Rs 11560.00.
The stock that opened at Rs 11673.95 on Saturday didn't sustain the momentum and traded lower to hit the day's low of Rs 11555.35, but it recovered to close flat.
