Shares of the Mumbai-headquartered FMCG company—whose popular brands include Parachute, Nihar, Saffola, Livon and Set Wet—declined by as much as Rs 6.3, or 1.2 per cent, to Rs 526.9 apiece in early deals on NSE.

The interim dividend will be paid to shareholders on or before Wednesday, November 29.

Earlier, the company's board fixed October 17 as the record date for the dividend.
How Marico performed in Q2
The FMCG company reported a 17.26 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 360 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year.
